Day 15: Pillows

30 Sew-Made Holiday Ideas

I need pillows for my couches and bed to spruce it up and give it some style. I love the idea that with pillows its a quick and easy change. You can make them seasonal to add a little more decor or just a singe color. There as so many tutorials out there so here are some of my favorite holiday ones. Make them a slip cover so its easily changed and stored.

Use this envelope pattern to make it easily slip on and off and no hassle with zippers from Six Sisters' Stuff. Here are some quick measurments to use for you pillow size, under 18" should use less than 1/2 a yard fabric:

12"-12x30
14"-14x34
16"-16x38
18"-18x42
Quick rule to find the length is (sizex2)+6
