Day 17: Ornaments & Garland

30 Sew-Made Holiday Ideas

I tried to stick with just sewing ornaments, but I had to add a few that were just so sparkly  Watch for my series of Sugar Plum Ornaments and Garland to come in December. In the mean times here are some fun ideas to get crafting right away.

Garland

This one may be 4th of July, but make it Christmasy and decrease the size it would look great on a tree. Get the tutorial fro Oopsey Daisy

I love this one for a candy cane tree or red and white tree. You could easily change the colors you use. Get the tutorial from The Purl Bee.

Holly berry garland from Megan Nielsen.

I like the look of this on, its made from wool and looks super simple. Get the tutorial from Whipper Berry.

Scrap fabic pom pom garland tutorial from Blueprint Textiles.

This one is not sewn, but really simple and could be done with any candy for a different look, the tutorial from Sew Many Ways.
